  • “User” / “Customer” / “You” refers to any person accessing or using the website.
  • “We” / “Us” / “Our” refers to Leo Validus / Validus Bridal / Leonard Lindeque Couture Pty Ltd.

2. GENERAL TERMS OF USE

  • Access to the website is provided on a temporary basis. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend services without notice.
  • All content, images, and intellectual property remain the property of Leo Validus and may not be reproduced without permission.
  • The User agrees not to misuse this site for fraudulent transactions, data scraping, or unauthorized marketing.

3. ONLINE ORDERING PROCESS

3.1 Product Information

We make every effort to display products as accurately as possible. However, due to lighting, screens, and photography, actual colors or finishes may vary slightly.

3.2 Availability

All items are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified and refunded or offered an alternative.

3.3 Order Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders at our discretion, including for pricing errors or suspected fraud.

3.4 Custom Orders

Some garments (e.g., limited editions or “Made to Order”) may involve a production period and are non-returnable unless defective.

4. PRICING & PAYMENT

  • Prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of Sales Tax.
  • We accept payments via [List gateways, e.g. PayFast,Netcash EFT, Credit/Debit Cards.
  • Orders will not be shipped until full payment is received and verified.
  • Discounts, coupons, or promotional offers may not be applied retroactively.

5. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

5.1 Shipping Policy

  • Standard delivery within South Africa: 3–7 business days.
  • International shipping is available upon request and subject to customs/import charges.

5.2 Risk of Loss

Risk transfers to the buyer upon handover to the courier. We are not liable for lost or damaged parcels once dispatched.

5.3 Delays

We are not liable for courier delays, strikes, or events beyond our control (force majeure).

6. RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

In line with the CPA and ECTA, customers may:

6.1 Cooling-Off Period (Section 44 of ECTA)

If you purchase goods via direct marketing, you may cancel your purchase within 7 days from receipt for a full refund (excluding return shipping). This excludes custom, made-to-order, or intimate garments.

6.2 Returns Policy

  • Returnable items must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 7 days of delivery.
  • We reserve the right to inspect returned items before processing a refund.
  • Refunds are made via the original payment method within 14 working days.

6.3 Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom garments
  • Sale items
  • Worn or damaged items
  • Gift cards and digital downloads

7. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

  • All products are subject to quality assurance, but minor variances may occur due to the handmade nature of garments.
  • We are not liable for damages caused by improper use, cleaning, or storage of garments.
  • Our total liability will never exceed the value of the item purchased.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content, including text, photographs, logos, designs, and code, are the property of Leo Validus / Validus Bridal. No content may be copied, republished, or exploited for commercial use without express written consent.

9. PRIVACY POLICY (POPIA COMPLIANT)

We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with POPIA:
